1. Legal Status of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between TaskForMe Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and you, the User. By accessing or using the Platform, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the Platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform — The website www.taskforme.co, associated applications, and all services provided by TaskForMe Ltd.
- User — Any person accessing or using the Platform.
- Client — A User posting a Task or requesting services.
- Service Provider — A User offering services or completing Tasks.
- Task — A request for services posted by a Client.
- Agreement — A legally binding contract formed directly between Client and Service Provider.
- Content — Any text, images, data, reviews, or other material submitted by Users.
- GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
- Cyprus Data Protection Law — Law 125(I)/2018.
3. Eligibility and Legal Capacity
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have full legal capacity under Cyprus law
- Use the Platform for lawful purposes only
- Not be suspended or removed from the Platform previously
- Not reside in a jurisdiction where use of the Platform is prohibited
TaskForMe reserves the right to request identity verification at any time.
4. Nature of the Platform
TaskForMe is a digital marketplace facilitating the posting and completion of Tasks. TaskForMe does not employ Service Providers and does not supervise or control their work. All services are performed under a direct contractual relationship between Client and Service Provider.
TaskForMe:
- Does not guarantee the quality, legality, or safety of Tasks
- Does not verify professional qualifications unless explicitly stated
- Is not responsible for agreements formed between Users
- Is not liable for actions or omissions of Users
5. User Accounts
5.1 Registration
Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information. TaskForMe may require identity verification, including government-issued ID.
5.2 Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials. Any activity under your account is deemed authorised by you.
5.3 Suspension and Termination
TaskForMe may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal conduct
- Abuse, harassment, or discrimination
- Repeated poor performance or complaints
- Failure to comply with Cyprus or EU law
Termination does not relieve Users of outstanding obligations.
6. Posting and Performing Tasks
6.1 Client Obligations
Clients must:
- Provide accurate, lawful, and detailed Task descriptions
- Ensure the Task does not violate labour, tax, safety, or licensing laws
- Provide safe working conditions
- Pay Service Providers promptly
- Not request prohibited or dangerous activities
6.2 Service Provider Obligations
Service Providers must:
- Perform Tasks with reasonable care, skill, and diligence
- Comply with all tax, labour, and licensing obligations
- Not misrepresent identity, qualifications, or capabilities
- Maintain professional conduct
- Not subcontract Tasks without Client consent
6.3 Prohibited Tasks
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal activities
- Medical, legal, or financial services requiring regulated licensing
- Activities involving minors without parental consent
- Hazardous tasks requiring certification unless certified
- Tasks involving weapons, controlled substances, or surveillance
7. Fees, Payments, and Billing
7.1 Platform Fees
TaskForMe may charge:
- Service fees
- Commission fees
- Processing fees
Fees may be updated at any time with notice.
7.2 Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Users agree to comply with the terms of such providers.
7.3 Disputes
TaskForMe is not responsible for payment disputes between Users. TaskForMe may, at its discretion, withhold payments in cases of:
- Fraud
- Investigation
- Breach of Terms
8. User Conduct and Behaviour
Users must not:
- Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
- Upload malware or attempt to breach security
- Use the Platform for commercial advertising without permission
- Interfere with the Platform’s functionality
Violation may result in immediate termination.
9. Reviews, Ratings, and User Content
Users may submit reviews and ratings. TaskForMe may remove content that is:
- Abusive
- Fraudulent
- Irrelevant
- Violating privacy or defamation laws
Users grant TaskForMe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display User Content.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by TaskForMe Ltd or licensed to it.
Users may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content
- Use trademarks without written permission
- Reverse engineer or modify Platform software
11. GDPR & Data Protection Compliance
TaskForMe processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018.
11.1 Categories of Data Collected
We may collect:
- Identification data
- Contact details
- Payment information
- Task-related information
- Communication logs
- Device and usage data
11.2 Legal Basis for Processing
Processing is based on:
- Contract performance
- Legitimate interest
- User consent
- Legal obligations
11.3 User Rights
Users have the right to:
- Access
- Rectification
- Erasure
- Restriction
- Portability
- Objection
- Withdraw consent

11.4 Data Security
TaskForMe implements:
- Encryption

- Secure servers

However, no system is completely secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Platform Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Cyprus and EU law, TaskForMe is not liable for:
- Actions or omissions of Service Providers
- Damages arising from Tasks
- Losses caused by User misconduct
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
12.2 User Liability
Users are responsible for:
- Their own actions
- Compliance with laws
- Damages caused during Tasks
- Tax obligations
13. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TaskForMe Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Breach of these Terms
- Misconduct or negligence
- Violation of law
- Disputes between Users
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Between Users
Disputes between Clients and Service Providers must be resolved directly between them.
TaskForMe may, at its discretion:
- Provide mediation
- Offer guidance
- Suspend accounts involved in repeated disputes
14.2 With TaskForMe
Any dispute between Users and TaskForMe shall be resolved exclusively by the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, including:
- Contract Law
- Consumer Protection Law
- Electronic Commerce Law
- GDPR and Cyprus Data Protection Law
16. Amendments
TaskForMe may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
