This Onboarding Guide provides Service Providers (“Providers”, “you”, “your”) with all required steps, standards, and operational expectations for joining and working on the TaskForMe Platform (“Platform”). It complements the Service Provider Code of Conduct, User Agreement, and Terms & Conditions.
2. Overview of the TaskForMe Platform
TaskForMe is a Cyprus‑based EU marketplace connecting Clients with independent Providers offering services and tasks. TaskForMe does not employ Providers; you operate as an independent contractor responsible for your own tax, legal, and licensing obligations.
3. Onboarding Stages
The onboarding process consists of the following stages:
3.1 Account Creation
You must:
- Register on www.taskforme.co
- Provide accurate personal details
- Verify your email address
- Agree to all governing policies
3.2 Identity Verification
TaskForMe may request:
- Government‑issued ID
- Proof of address
- Additional verification for high‑risk categories
Verification ensures platform integrity and Client safety.
3.3 Profile Setup
Your profile must include:
- Professional photo
- Clear description of services offered
- Skills, experience, and qualifications
- Languages spoken
- Service area (geographical coverage)
A complete profile increases Client trust and booking likelihood.
3.4 Service Category Selection
Providers must select appropriate service categories such as:
- Home maintenance
- Cleaning
- Delivery
- Personal assistance
- Technical support
- Administrative tasks
You must only select categories you are competent and legally permitted to perform.
3.5 Documentation Upload (If Required)
Certain services may require:
- Trade licences
- Certifications
- Insurance documents
- Safety training proof
TaskForMe may request additional documentation depending on service type.
3.6 Acceptance of Policies
Before activation, Providers must confirm acceptance of:
- Service Provider Code of Conduct
- User Agreement

- Cookie Policy
4. Getting Started on the Platform
4.1 Browsing Tasks
Providers may browse available Tasks based on:
- Location
- Category
- Skill match
- Time availability
4.2 Making Offers
When responding to a Task:

- Submit a clear offer including price and timeframe
4.3 Task Acceptance
A Task is confirmed when:
- The Client accepts your offer
- Both parties agree on scope and timing
This forms a User Contract between you and the Client.
5. Performing Tasks
5.1 Pre‑Task Preparation
Before attending:
- Confirm appointment details
- Prepare necessary tools and equipment
- Review safety considerations
- Communicate any changes promptly
5.2 On‑Site Conduct
Providers must:
- Arrive on time
- Present themselves professionally
- Follow Client instructions
- Respect Client property
- Maintain safety standards
5.3 Completion and Confirmation
After completing the Task:
- Inform the Client
- Provide photos or evidence if requested
- Mark the Task as completed on the Platform
6. Payments and Financial Obligations
6.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through approved methods. Providers must not:
- Request cash payments
- Circumvent the Platform
- Engage in off‑platform arrangements
6.2 Fees
TaskForMe may apply:
- Commission fees
- Processing fees
- Service fees
Fees are displayed transparently before Task acceptance.
6.3 Tax Obligations
Providers are responsible for:
- Income tax
- Social insurance contributions
- VAT registration (if applicable)
TaskForMe does not provide tax advice.
7. Ratings and Reviews
7.1 How Ratings Work
Clients may rate Providers based on:
- Professionalism
- Communication
- Quality of work
- Reliability
7.2 Maintaining High Ratings
To maintain strong ratings:
- Communicate clearly
- Avoid cancellations
- Deliver high‑quality work
- Resolve issues professionally
7.3 Review Integrity
Providers must not:
- Manipulate reviews
- Pressure Clients
- Create fake accounts
8. Safety, Risk, and Insurance
8.1 Safety Requirements
Providers must:
- Assess risks before starting
- Use proper safety equipment
- Decline unsafe Tasks
8.2 Insurance
Providers are encouraged to maintain:
- Public liability insurance
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Personal accident insurance
TaskForMe does not provide insurance coverage.
9. Support and Issue Resolution
9.1 Contacting Support
Providers may contact TaskForMe support for:
- Technical issues
- Account problems
- Dispute guidance
- Safety concerns
9.2 Dispute Handling
Disputes between Providers and Clients must be resolved directly. TaskForMe may assist but is not obligated to intervene.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
TaskForMe may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Breach of policies
- Fraud or misrepresentation
- Safety violations
- Repeated cancellations
- Poor performance
- Data protection breaches
Termination does not relieve Providers of outstanding obligations.
11. Continuous Improvement
Providers are encouraged to:
- Update skills
- Expand service categories
- Improve communication
- Maintain professional standards
TaskForMe may offer training materials or guidance periodically.
